Does lip blush hurt? Is it painful?
Most clients find lip blush very manageable. A premium topical numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment to minimise discomfort. Many clients describe it as a light scratching sensation — and some even fall asleep during the session!
How long does lip blush last in Birmingham?
Lip blush typically lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, pigment colour chosen, and how well you follow aftercare. Lighter shades and oily skin types may fade faster. A colour refresh is available after 12+ months.

What is the healing process like?
Days 1–2: lips appear darker and bolder than your final result. Days 3–5: peeling and flaking — do NOT pick at this. Days 5–7: colour appears very light as the skin heals over. Day 28+: the true healed colour settles in. A top-up session is available at 6–12 weeks to perfect your result.
Is a patch test required?
Yes — a patch test is mandatory for all new clients and must be carried out at least 48 hours before treatment. This is done at your consultation appointment and is included in your treatment package at no extra cost.
